Brad Schmidt

Co-Founder and Chef

Brad calls Waterford home, where he lives with his wife, Teresa, and their son, Gilbert.

With over 25 years of experience in the culinary industry, and training from multiple certified Master Chefs, Brad exemplifies expertise, passion, and dedication in every kitchen he leads. A proud graduate of Schoolcraft College's esteemed Culinary Arts program, Brad has refined his craft through an impressive career spanning diverse roles in the metro Detroit area. His professional journey includes leadership in large-scale banquets, off-premise catering, and high-volume restaurant operations.

Whether designing sophisticated menus or orchestrating seamless dining experiences, Brad consistently sets the standard for culinary excellence.

Cam Schmidt

Co-Founder

Cam brings over a decade of experience in IT and cybersecurity to the business. His passion lies in using technology to tackle complex challenges, and he's excited to combine this expertise with his love for golf to bring innovation to a game with such a historic tradition. When he's not working, Cam cherishes time with his wife of nine years, Jaclyn, and their three young children, who are already beginning to create their own memories on the golf course.

David Sowle

Co-Founder

David has been married for over 20 years to Whitney, and they have three wonderful and very active children in the Clarkston School District. Sadly, David did not pick up golf until his early-30s and one of his biggest regrets is that he didn't try golf sooner in life. Nowadays, he's an avid, albeit mediocre golfer, always trying to check out new courses. You can catch him on Thursdays at Pine Knob during league nights trying to get a little better at this infuriating and addicting sport.

Myke Schmidt

Co-Founder

Myke has been happily married to his wife, Terese, for three years, and their two young children (Myles & Claire) bring them constant joy as well as keep them on their toes. Throughout Myke's professional career he has developed a strong background in financial reporting and analysis. He is beyond excited to blend this expertise with his passion for golf. Introduced to golf at an early age some of Myke's fondest memories are tied to the course. The love of the game is a family tradition and he is honored to carry this tradition forward as a part of Hosel Rockets.

Stephen Learman

Co-Founder

The high handicapper of the ownership team, Stephen keeps the on-course vibes similar to his golf score – high! Stephen and his family (Candace, Taylor, Jack) live nearby in Clarkston, MI. As someone who lives and golfs local, Stephen cannot wait for Hosel Rockets to open their doors to start serving golfers in the area, both expert players looking to keep their swings fine-tuned during the winter as well as the higher handicappers that want to use data to improve their golf game during the offseason.
