A Hosel Rocket is a golf term for a bad shot, also known as a shank. It happens when the ball hits the hosel of the club instead of the clubface, usually sending the ball wildly off course. We liked the name because it brings a little humor to the game and reminds everyone that golf is better when you do not take every swing too seriously.

Not at all. We built Hosel Rockets for golfers and non golfers alike. You can enjoy our lounge, whiskey bar, craft cocktails, chef crafted food, video wall, and social atmosphere without ever picking up a club. Golf is a big part of what we do, but the full experience is about good food, great drinks, and gathering with people.

Yes. You can come in for drinks, dinner, happy hour, a game on the video wall, or a relaxed evening with friends. We want the lounge to feel like your second home course, whether you are playing golf or just enjoying the atmosphere.

We use Trackman iO simulator technology, which gives players an immersive indoor golf experience with detailed shot tracking and real time feedback. It is a great way to play world class courses, practice your swing, compete with friends, or keep your game sharp year round.

We have 12 premium simulator bays. Each bay can host up to 4 players, which allows us to accommodate up to 48 golfers at a time.

Absolutely. Our bays are great for every skill level. If you are brand new to golf, you can still have a fun, comfortable experience. If you are more advanced, the Trackman technology gives you detailed data to help improve your game.

You can log into your Trackman account to track your performance, view stats, and follow your progress. It is helpful if you want to keep a record of your game, but our team can help you get started either way.

Yes. We recommend arriving at least 10 minutes before your reserved time. Your tee time begins promptly at the time you booked, and the session ends 5 minutes early so we can prepare the bay for the next guests.

If your party has more than 4 people per bay, even if some guests are not golfing, please let us know ahead of time or include the total guest count in your booking notes. This helps our team prepare and make sure your group has the best experience possible.

For groups of 20 or more, please contact us directly at info@hoselrockets.com so we can help set up your visit as an event.

Our hourly golf rates vary by day and time. Monday is closed. Tuesday is $30 from 4 PM to 10 PM. Wednesday and Thursday are $30 from 11 AM to 10 PM. Friday is $30 from 11 AM to 3 PM and $40 from 3 PM to 11 PM. Saturday is $40 from 11 AM to 11 PM. Sunday is $30 from 11 AM to 8 PM.

Yes. We offer seasonal golf leagues that make it easy to keep playing when outdoor golf slows down. Our fall and winter leagues are designed for players who want to compete, stay sharp, and enjoy a consistent weekly golf experience.

Yes. Our gastropub menu features elevated takes on classic pub favorites, made with fresh, handcrafted ingredients. We designed the food menu to pair well with golf, whiskey, cocktails, and a relaxed night out.

Our bar features premium whiskey, bourbon, scotch, rye, local Michigan spirits, handcrafted cocktails, beer, seltzer, and other spirits. Whether you know exactly what you like or want to try something new, our team can help you find the right pour.

Yes. Happy Hour is available weekdays from 3 PM to 6 PM for bar service only. It is a great time to stop in for drinks, food, and a more relaxed afternoon visit.

Tables are available on a first come, first served basis. If you are planning to visit with a large party, please contact us in advance so we can help prepare for your group.

Yes. You are always welcome to stop in for drinks at the bar or lounge. You do not need to book a golf bay to enjoy our whiskey, cocktails, food, or atmosphere.
